Terms and Conditions

The terms that govern this site and our advisory work

This site is informational. Nothing on it is a quote, a warranty, or a promise of a vector control outcome, and reading it does not make us your consultant.

In Short
  • Website content is general information, not tailored advice.
  • Engagements are governed by a signed written agreement.
  • We do not guarantee eradication or suppression outcomes.
  • You remain responsible for regulatory and label compliance.

Summary only — the numbered clauses below govern.

01

Acceptance

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. We may revise these terms and will update the effective date when we do.

02

Informational purpose only

Everything published here, including method descriptions, equipment discussion, and written insights, is general information about our practice. It is not tailored operational, entomological, regulatory, legal, or medical advice for your program, and it should not be relied upon as though it were.

Submitting a form, calling the office, or attending an introductory conversation does not create a consulting relationship. That begins only when both parties sign a written agreement describing the scope of work.

03

No guarantee of results

We do not promise eradication, a specific percentage reduction in vector populations, a particular disease incidence outcome, or any given return on investment. Vector outcomes depend on weather, habitat, funding, community behaviour, and execution quality, none of which we control.

Where we cite past work, those figures describe what happened in that setting under those conditions. They are not a forecast of what will happen in yours.

04

Your responsibilities

Our role is advisory. Decisions about what to apply, where, when, and by whom remain yours, as does compliance with the law that governs your program.

  • Following pesticide labels, permits, and applicator licensing rules.
  • Complying with local, state, national, and treaty obligations.
  • Ensuring worker safety, training, and protective equipment.
  • Verifying the accuracy of the data you provide to us.
05

Equipment and third parties

We are not the manufacturer of the equipment we help you select. Warranties, service obligations, and product performance claims come from the manufacturer, and any dispute about them is between you and that manufacturer.

Where we reference a third-party product, standard, or publication, that reference is not an endorsement and we are not responsible for its content.

06

Intellectual property

The text, layout, diagrams, and method descriptions on this site belong to us and are protected by copyright. You may read, print, and quote briefly with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions, scrape the site to train a model, or present our methods as your own work.

Deliverables produced during an engagement are licensed to you as described in the governing agreement. Our underlying methods, templates, and analytical frameworks remain ours.

07

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost funding, or program interruption, arising from use of this website or reliance on its content.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees actually paid to us for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. Website content is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

08

Confidentiality

We keep your program information confidential and expect the same treatment of our proposals, pricing, and working papers. Either party may disclose where compelled by law, after giving the other reasonable notice where that is lawful and practical.

09

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts serving Klamath County, Oregon have exclusive jurisdiction unless a signed engagement agreement provides otherwise.

10

Contact

Questions about these terms should be sent to the office by email or post using the details in the footer of every page. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
